How to upload website files in Enhance

This guide explains how to upload website files for an Enhance hosting account.

Option 1: Use the Enhance file manager

1. Log in to your Enhance hosting control panel.
2. Open the website or domain you want to manage.
3. Open the file manager.
4. Browse to the website's public folder.
5. Upload your files.

The public website folder may vary depending on the Enhance setup.

If you are unsure which folder to use, please contact support before uploading files.

Option 2: Use SFTP

You can also upload files using SFTP with a program such as FileZilla, Cyberduck, or WinSCP.

Use the SFTP details provided for your hosting account.

Common settings are:

• Protocol: SFTP
• Host: your domain name or server hostname
• Port: 22
• Username: your hosting/SFTP username
• Password: your hosting/SFTP password

Homepage filename

Your homepage should normally be named one of the following:

• index.html
• index.htm
• index.php

If there is no index file, your website may not load as expected.
