How to create or restore backups in Enhance

Enhance may provide backup and restore options for your hosting account, depending on the service and server your account is hosted on.

Important

Server-side backups are not guaranteed and should not be treated as your only backup.

We recommend keeping your own independent backups of important website files, databases, and email.

How to check available backups

1. Log in to your Enhance hosting control panel.
2. Open the website or domain you want to manage.
3. Look for the Backups section.
4. Review the available backup dates and restore options.

Restoring a backup

If restore options are available, choose the backup date you want to restore from.

Depending on the options available, you may be able to restore:

• website files
• databases
• email data
• the full hosting account

Be careful when restoring backups, as a restore may overwrite current data.

Before restoring

Before restoring a backup, consider whether you need to save a copy of the current website first.

A restore may replace newer files or database changes with older versions.
